Ann Elizabeth Marcotte, 87, of Willsboro, passed away on September 16, 2026, at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh with her family at her side.

Born on June 29, 1939, in Willsboro, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Dorothy (Young) Lindsay.

Ann graduated from Willsboro Central School, Class of 1957 and went on to the Albany School of Cosmetology. She married her beloved husband Sam, on December 21, 1957 and they remained in Willsboro to work and raise their family.

Ann was passionate about being a beautician and ran a beauty shop out of her home for more than fifty years. She was a caregiver, a listener and a true friend to many. Everyone knew Ann Marcotte.

Ann lived life beautifully and on her own terms. She was glamorous through and through, never without her jewelry and makeup, painted nails. She was always done up and ready for whatever the day held. She loved to travel, exploring all over and setting sail on cruises with her husband, Sam, and she never turned down a good day of shopping. Bowling on Thursday nights in the Women's league and her swimming pool were some of her greatest joys.

Above all, Ann loved her family and loved bringing them together. Her home was the heart of every holiday and every birthday, and no celebration was complete without a food, birthday cake and cocktails. Whether the music of Tom Jones was playing or the family was simply gathered around, Ann made every occasion feel special and she was the entertainer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Marcotte; her brothers Allen Lindsay, Gary Lindsay and Terry Lindsay.

She is survived by her children, Scott Marcotte (Anne), Lindsay Marcotte Raimo (V. Michael), and Ginger LaPine (Mark). Her Grandchildren, Sammy Marcotte, Wesley Hamel, Dayne Hamel (Katy), Alexander Hamel (Cynthia) and Tyler LaPine. Her Great Grandchildren, Jaxon, Kelly, Ryann and Kayden. Her sister Laura Lee (John). Her cousin, Patti Benway; close friends Bonnie Flora and Sue Neilly and her companion, Pat Esposito.

Along with many more friends and relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Philip's Church in Willsboro on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
