Barbara Bombard

Barbara Berniece Bombard, 56, passed away on June 17, 2024 unexpectedly at home after a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family. She was born on May 30, 1968 and was a lifelong resident of Au Sable Forks.

Barbara found fulfillment and purpose in her work as a chambermaid for many years, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to her responsibilities.

She was known for her love of gambling, particularly enjoying the thrill of playing slots and participating in the lottery. Her adventurous spirit and passion for gaming brought joy and excitement to her life.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Bombard, Sr. and Cheryl Bombard; and her siblings Patty Bombard and Richard Bombard.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted partner of 40 years Richard Joy, her two beloved sons Cory Joy and Kyle Joy; her cherished sister Tammy Joy-Hicks; and her dear brothers Kenneth Bombard, Jr., Robert Bombard, and Marvin Bombard.

Private interment will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Au Sable Forks.

Services were entrusted to Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks.
