Donald L McQueen, 63, died unexpectedly September 8, 2026, at his farm in Lewis, NY. He was born December 27, 1962, in Elizabethtown, NY, the son of Donald L. and Sandra L. McQueen.

Don graduated from Westport Central School, Class of 1982. Following graduation, he married Wanda Reynolds, purchased a home in Westport, NY, and raised three sons. Don was the Director of the Myrtle Waves waterpark in Myrtle Beach, SC from 1992-1995. He loved racing harness horses and enjoyed announcing horse races at county fairs throughout New York State. He coached JV basketball, directed the youth summer school program. He was a lifetime member of the Westport Federated Church. In 2012, he met his fiancé, Noreen Dubrey Miller. They managed the Westport Hotel, later moving to their racehorse farm in Lewis, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents. Don is survived by his fiancé, Noreen; three sons, Bradley Abbott McQueen and fiancé Meagan; Donovan Taylor McQueen; Garrett Lawrence McQueen and wife Kayle; 6 grandchildren, Trentin, Mason, Keelin, Rian, Taylor, and Ainsley; one sister, Kellie King and husband Robert; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2026 at the Westport Federated Church, 6468 Main Street, Westport, NY 12993 with reception immediately following.
