Geraldine LaFountain

Geraldine LaFountain passed away April 18, 2022 at the age of 86.

She was born on September 9, 1935, the daughter of John and Agnes (Aubin) Rushia. She married Arleigh LaFountain, Sr. and together they had six children.

Geraldine was predeceased by her husband; her parents; two siblings, Thomas Rushia and Romeo Rushia; and a son-in-law Gerald Bordeau.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Brenda Bordeau and her companion Rodney Rhino, Patricia (Richard) Simpson, Arleigh (Sheila) LaFountain, Jr., John (Darcey) LaFountain, Francis (Heather) LaFountain, Shari LaFountain and her companion Ronald Howerton, brother James (Kathy) Rushia, and Virginia Rushia; 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; Christine (Gordy) Laduke, John Donor, and her cat, Tine.

Interment will be private with no services.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Peru SPCA and Au Sable Forks EMS.
