Goldie Fountain

Goldie (Mason) Fountain, 82, passed away August 7, 2022. Goldie was born July 5, 1940 in Wilmington, N.Y. to the late Vincent and Eliza (Lawrence) Mason.

She was a spiritual woman who loved family, especially family gatherings, camping, fishing, and bonfires with a cold one or drinking her "happy juice" while dancing to Elvis Presley, pull-tabs with her friends at the American Legion Post 504-with her laughter filling most rooms, and of course bingo and casinos with her sister Violet.

Goldie is survived by her children Roberta (Paul) Schmid, Robert Fountain, and Robin Fountain-Joy; daughter-in-law Heather Cothran; her sisters Betty Smith and Violet Irwin; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Alica, Erica, Brandon, Catlin, Erin, Lexi, Abby, Merissa, Ian, Gavin, Aleigha, Keira, Liam (lovingly known as Lamb) , Aiden, Amberlynn and Baxton and Burke.

Goldie was predeceased by her husband Robert (Buzzy) Fountain, son David Fountain, granddaughter Amber Wells, and daughter-in-law Wendy Fountain; as well as siblings Charlie, Alvin, Francis "Peanut", Vincent II, Dorothy, Shirley, Marion, and Nancy.

A Vigil Service will be held August 19, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, 3 College St., Au Sable Forks.

Services were entrusted to Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home.
