Gregory LeClair

Gregory Dean LeClair, from Upper Jay, NY, passed away at CVPH Medical Center on March 31, 2022, at the age of 64.

He was born on April 26, 1957, the son of Ralph and Kathleen Kilburn LeClair.

Greg was a member of the Upper Jay Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years and was responsible for compiling the specifications for the building of the main pumper for UJFD, a 1992 Peterbuilt Fire Truck.

He loved his family and his many friends and enjoyed four-wheeling and camping. He was loved by the community and would always help anyone who needed it.

Preceding him in death are his parents, and his loving wife, Veronica "Bunny" Sprague LeClair.

He is survived by his two sons, Jason and Shawn LeClair; six grandchildren: Emily, Evan, Caleb, Brady, Audreana, and Bella LeClair; two brothers, Robert and David LeClair; a sister, Karen Coolidge; and a host of other relatives.

Graveside Services will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Wilmington, NY, on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The Family would like you to join them for a meal at the Adirondack Mountain Cafe in Upper Jay at noon following the service.
