Jacqueline Wardell

Jacqueline "Jacky" Mary Wardell, 79, residing in Keeseville, NY, left for her heavenly abode on April 14th, 2023 after a long fight with illness with her family by her side.

Jaqueline was born to John and Mary Wilson, April 11th, 1944, In the town of Whitchurch, England. Jaqueline married William Wardell in the city of Blackburn, England 1972. She received her master's degree in teaching while in the United Kingdom. Upon receiving her master's, Jacky continuously taught as an English teacher at a Church of England school for 7 years, and then Barkalow Elementary School in New Jersey for 28 years making many friends and colleagues along the way.

Jacky enjoyed reading books, theatre, playing Facebook games, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Jaqueline was a well accomplished woman, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.

Jacky is survived by her loving husband Butch Wardell; her son Chris Wardell; her granddaughters Brianna and Chastity Wardell; grandson Christian Wardell; and her great-grandchildren, Xavier Laplant, Addalynn Laplant, and Victoria Wardell.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, 3 College St., Au Sable Forks, NY. A Graveside Service will be held on on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name Cemetery in Au Sable Forks.
