Joyce Pennock

Joyce Pennock, 92, passed away on July 25, 2023, in Malone, NY, surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce was born on May 1, 1931 in Constable, NY, to George Paquin and Delima Perras.

She graduated from Au Sable Forks High School and later married Wilmer Pennock. She started her career as a cook and went on to work for Whiteface for many years. Joyce was a devoted member of Holy Name Church and was also a member of the Au Sable Forks Senior Center, where she especially enjoyed going on senior trips. One of her favorite things to do was to pick blueberries in Vermont.

When she wasn't spending time at church, she wanted to be fishing or in the outdoors.

Preceding her in death were her husband Wilmer; her parents; and her siblings Bernard, Roland, Ernest, Sarah, Viola, Florence, and Ella.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Holy Name Church in Au Sable Forks with a Mass of Christian Burial following visitation at 1:00. Interment will take place following Mass at Holy Name Cemetery, Au Sable Forks.
