Keith Furnia, age 63, passed away peacefully at UVM Health Network, CVPH, on Sept. 24th, 2023, with his loving family by his side.

Born on September 6th, 1960, in Plattsburgh N.Y., to Richard "Mike" and Roberta "Bertie" Furnia, he was one of two children.

Keith worked for Imperial Wall Coverings in the paper division, until he entered the field of construction. Keith worked for the Whiteface Club for the past several years until his retirement earlier this year. Keith was an avid outdoorsman, spending the majority of his free time hunting and fishing at his hunting club, the Little Potter Mountain Club. Keith also enjoyed going for four wheeler rides, and checking trail cameras when it was not hunting season. His true passion was attending his son Kolby's sporting and school events.

He is survived by his son Kolby Furnia, companion Trudy Walker, sister Becky (John) Nolan, two nephews Kellen (Cassie) Nolan, Kyle (Ashley) Nolan, and great-nephew Kooper Nolan. He is also survived by four aunts, Carol Wisher, Anne Cross, Shirley Furnia, Harriet Furnia, a special cousin, Jennette Rondeau, along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, Richard "Mike" and Roberta "Bertie" Furnia, along with several aunts and uncles.

Per his request there will be no calling hours or graveside services.

There will be a gathering of family and friends in Walton Circle Friday the 29th of September beginning at 1 P.M.

Donations in Keith's remembrance may be made to the Dialysis Center at Adirondack Medical Center, Saranac Lake, NY.

Arrangements are in the care of Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home.
