Linda A. Martin, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home on March 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Plattsburgh, Linda was the daughter of Edward Lesperance and Ellen Crowningshield. She was a devoted, caring mother whose warmth and compassion touched all who knew her.

Linda had a passion for crafts and artistic pursuits. She enjoyed painting ceramics, crocheting, knitting, and diamond art. Her creative spirit was evident in everything she did, and her handmade pieces brought happiness and comfort to many.

In accordance with Linda’s wishes, no services will be held.

Those who wish to honor Linda’s memory are invited to make donations to Elmore SPCA in Peru.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Michael Lesperance; her grandparents; as well as several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her children Phillip (Lisa) Martin, Jr., and Kay Martin; her niece Pamela Crowningshield of Au Sable Forks; her brothers Gordon (Carolyn) Lesperance of Vermont and Elmer Lesperance of Georgia; her sister-in-law Pamela Lesperance of Maryland; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
