Patricia "Pattie" Lawrence, 54, of Jay, New York, passed away at her home on Sunday, August 2, 2026. She was born on May 8, 1972, in Passaic, NJ, to Gene and Joanne Hilt.

Pattie lived life with a playful spirit and an unforgettable sense of humor. She never met a stranger and loved going out to dinner, often striking up conversations with people she had just met. One of her favorite pastimes was inventing outrageous stories about herself just to see how long she could keep them going, while her husband, Tracy, would play along without missing a beat. The two of them shared a unique sense of humor that was entirely their own.

Pattie was known for hiding tiny plastic ducks in unexpected places, leaving behind small reminders to smile. Her faithful dogs, George and Otis, were more than pets; they were family.

Above all, Pattie loved her family. She was a devoted mother and an adoring grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her family. Her kindness, laughter, and ability to make others feel welcome will be remembered always.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Tracy Lawrence; and by her parents, Joanne and Gene Hilt.

She is survived by her daughters, Maya Mason-Hilt and her partner, Travis Tomich, and their daughters, Maddison and Emmersyn Tomich; Brette Lawrence and her partner, Rob Cullop; Pattie's partner, Keith Labombard; her brother, Jeff (Renee) Hilt; and many friends who cared deeply for her.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Haselton Cemetery in Wilmington.
