Rebbecca Roy

Rebbecca Ann Roy passed away at home on May 19th, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. Becky was born August 26th, 1976 to John and Linda Roy.

She graduated from Au Sable Valley Central School in 1994 and went on to study at North Country Community College. She spent the years following college in a variety of jobs, until finally finding her calling in healthcare. She joined the Au Sable Forks Ambulance which then led to becoming a CNA at CVPH where she loved working on the maternity floor. She had a huge heart and was in her element taking care of others, but her greatest joy in life was becoming a mom to her son Ryan. When her disabilities made it impossible to continue working, she kept her spirits up by going to paint and sip classes, and taking care of her beloved dog Cleo.

She had an indomitable spirit and although life threw many challenges at her, she came back each time like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Although she is gone, her memory will live on in her beloved grandson Grayson, who she was overjoyed to be able to meet before she departed this life.

Becky is going to be dearly missed by her father John Roy of Au Sable Forks; her brother JR, his wife Sara; and her niece Eloise; her son Ryan, his partner Camie VanValkenburg; and grandson Grayson; her longtime friend Lisa Bushey and her constant canine companion Cleo. She was preceded in death by her mother Linda.

In keeping with Becky's wishes there will be no calling hours.
