Susan P. Apelt age 64 , of Evergreen Lane in Jay, passed away Wednesday, December 18th, 2019, as the result of a motor vehicle accident .
Mrs. Apelt was born in Endicott, NY on May 3, 1955 to Stephen Novak and Patricia (Nolett) Novak. She always worked to serve others, which was evidenced by her many years as a social worker and her dedication to JEMS as a volunteer. She was also a member of the Wilmington Historical Society. Mrs. Apelt graduated from Eckerd College with a Bachelor's Degree.
Survivors include: husband Richard and her brother James (Beverly) Novak.
Private services will be held next Spring.
Services were entrusted to Thwaits-Zaumetzer Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks, NY.
