Yvonne Farmer

Yvonne C. Farmer of Upper Jay, New York passed on August 29, 2021.

She is survived by her children: Ann Macdonald of Hyannis, Massachusetts, Paul Farmer and his wife Nenita of Anchorage, Alaska, Ken Farmer and his wife Cyndi of Point MacKenzie, Alaska, Christopher Farmer and his wife Gail of Flourtown, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren: William and Jillian Macdonald of Massachusetts, Celina, Melinda, and Kevin Farmer of Anchorage, Alaska, Charles and Desmond Farmer of Flourtown, Pennsylvania, Lisa Davis of Anchorage, Alaska, Melonie Walker of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and four great-grandchildren: Micaela, Mackenzie, and Makenna Walker of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Abbigail Davis of Anchorage, Alaska.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Farmer, her mother and father, Harold and Anne Kloosterman, and her sister, Allene Sculthorpe.

Yvonne was a longtime resident of Upper Jay and developed deep ties to the local communities.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Adirondack Land Trust or St. Margaret's Church in Wilmington will be gratefully accepted.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Margaret's Church, Wilmington with reception to follow at St. Margaret's.

Services were entrusted to Zaumetzer Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks.
